SGT Steven DeLuzio was a member of the GHS class of 2003. After graduating from The University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) he began his career as an accountant at CohnReznick in Glastonbury, CT.

Shortly after he began his career, Steven was called to duty in Afghanistan. He was a spiritual leader as well as a military leader and admired by the soldiers under his command as well as his friends and family alike. He always tried his best and made the ultimate sacrifice for this country on August 22, 2010.

We would be pleased to consider applications from Glastonbury High School graduating seniors who are planning to major in Accounting. This CohnReznick sponsored $5,000 college scholarship will be awarded based on an official high school transcript, a teacher’s recommendation, and the student’s personal character.

If you are interested, please complete the enclosed scholarship application along with the required essay. Please obtain TWO recommendations, one from a teacher and another from a personal reference such as a coach or employer. In addition, please request an official transcript from your high school and be sure that this information is returned to us at the address listed in the application.
