Conn Post Chronicles the Lives of CT’s Fallen Soldiers

Monday will mark the 10th Memorial Day since the US began it’s war in Afghanistan, and 9th since the start of the war in Iraq. More than 6,000 service members have been killed in the two wars – 56 with Connecticut ties.

This last year has added 7 names to the list of Connecticut service members who were killed while serving overseas. Including Steven DeLuzio.

CT Post writer Tim Loh has put together a series of articles to honor each of Connecticut’s service members who were killed during the past year. The first in the series honors Steven.

Please take the time to read the article, and the others that will follow in the coming days, to remember the sacrifices that each of these individuals have made.

  1. To the DeLuzio,
I’m a former DHR (Water Quality) VP. I heard the news of Steven’s passing last year from my DHR friends Frank K. & Michael D. I started Impact Weapons Components last May with the goal of producing better components for those in Law Enforcement and the Military. To honor Steven, we’ll run his story and links to this site on our homepage, facebook and the various Forums we sponsor. And we’ll donate a portion of our sales and ask people to donate to the Scholarship Fund.
I’m deeply sorry for your loss.
